The Shefa Apprentices program is one 6-week long program that runs from July 7 to August 15 and includes honing low-impact farming skills, mentorship of trainees at Abundance Farm, and off-site visits to nearby food justice partners. If transportation is a barrier for applying, we have travel stipends available. Please let us know if this is something you will want.
This program is intended for past participants of Shefa at Abundance Farm, though young people entering 11th and 12th grade who have not participated in Shefa programming before are also welcome to apply. Shefa Apprentices is a paid internship, and participants receive a stipend of $35/day. More info.

Application For Summer 2025 - This application is due on Monday, April 21st at 5 pm.

Interviews (for applicants who have not previously attended Shefa) will be held on Thursday, April 24th; Tuesday, April 29th; and Thursday, May 1st.
